Our Lady of Guadalucha is an interpretation of different iterations of Mesoamerican and Mexican icons. This presentation honors La Virgen de Guadalupe, Chicana and Mexicana feminism in the form of a luchadora, and she is surrounded by visual allusions to Coatlicue, Tonantzin, and to some, La Llorona.
